Hudson Gardens, located at 6115 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton along the
South Platte River, is host to Region 20's iris display garden and summer
rhizome sale. The Region 20 iris beds are maintained by our volunteers with
water being provided by Hudson Gardens. Work includes planting, weeding,
fertilizing, trimming, and staking the iris throughout the season.
The summer rhizome sale takes place outside the residence just down the path
from the iris bed. It is our major source of income for the year and it takes
quite a bit of work to set up the tables and tents, to label and sort all the
donated rhizomes, and to provide assistance for the buyers. Come and see the
large selection of irises local growers and club members have donated for the
sale.
